6.2 million people half of Somalia population need urgent humanitarian help.Somalia is experiencing one of its worst drought in 25 years. The world faces one the largest humanitarian crisis since the united nations was founded in 1945. Both in Kenya and Somalia governments have declared an urgent food emergency is is building up.
Acute drought in many parts of Somalia has reduced the availability of clean water resources and food crisis has given way to malnutrition and spread of epidemic prone diseases.
Please help us prevent a humanitarian emergency from happeing in front of our eyes.
The malnutrition is so pronounced that some adults are too weak to walk and some communities have lost all their toddlers.Hundreds of people have already lost their lives, so far the response has been lacking funds and coordination without collective and coordinated global efforts people will simply starve to death.
